There are various lists flying around of the 95 or so House Democrats who have publicly stated their support for impeachment. That's good to know, but wouldn't it be more useful to have a list of Democrats who don't currently support impeachment? Fortunately NPR has compiled such a list.
Congress is about to go on vacation -- except they're not really going on vacation, are they? They're going back to their districts for meetings, fundraisers, and, yes, face-to-face-time and town halls with their constituents.
In other words, if you support impeachment then NOW is the time to get in your Congressperson's face and put some pressure on. Let them know that their constituents are concerned about the Trump administration's lawlessness and destruction of American values. Only about 23 Democrats need to be flipped for there to be majority support for impeachment among House Democrats.
If your Congressperson is on the list below, you have six weeks to personally let them know where you stand. Write them, call them, meet with them, go to a town hall and speak up. The ball is in your court!
Edited to add: I want to make clear that the point here is not to trash your representatives for not supporting impeachment, but to let them know that YOU support impeachment. The more they hear this from their constituents, the better.
Here's the list, sorted by state:

(4,558 posts)Lizzie Fletcher currently does not support impeachment.
She didn't support Representative Tlaib's resolution.
She has not been part of any of the impeachment legislation.
My district is blue for the first time in my adult life.
I understand if she supports impeachment without there being a much stronger case.. enough of one to have a plausible chance of it going through in the Senate, He will not be removed from office, and next year, my district will once again be red.
It's a shit sandwich, but it's the best sandwich available for my district.
In the House, she has voted overwhelmingly with our House leader and party. I have NO doubt in my mind.. not for a second.. that if she loses 2020, that vote is gone, and we're going to be one seat closer to a Republican majority reclamation.
EarlG
(21,947 posts)Some of our Reps will obviously not be able to publicly support impeachment for political reasons -- we don't need to undermine vulnerable candidates who won in red districts.
Many more, however, need to hear from their constituents. If we want them to proceed to impeachment, they need to know that they have the backing of people in their districts. The more pro-impeachment opinions they hear, the better.
This is not about calling our Reps to tear them down for not supporting impeachment; it's to let them know that there is a wave of support for such a measure, which they should pay attention to.
(In other words, there's no harm in contacting your Rep to let her know YOU support impeachment, even if you understand that she can't do so publicly at this time.)

(15,645 posts)those in leadership positions. Of those, only Maxine Waters supports impeachment. These are the people who have the most influence over other Democratic members ... and they are all taking a wait and see whether we have iron-clad evidence position or so they say. I am skeptical. I think its quite likely many if not most or all of them dont believe there will ever be sufficient evidence to convince enough GOP Senators to convict and are therefore going with a political calculation.
Why do I feel like we have been playing checkers for 40 years while the GOP has been playing chess?
EarlG
(21,947 posts)It would certainly be a lot easier if Nancy Pelosi just turned around and said "Okay folks, impeachment time!" but that's not what's happening.
If Pelosi is waiting for political pressure to build, then now is the time for constituents to put pressure on their Reps, who will in turn put pressure on Pelosi as more and more of them come out in support of impeachment.
If this happens, there will be a tipping point. But we'll never get to the tipping point if we all sit around waiting for somebody else to act.
KPN
(15,645 posts)certainly won't act on or initiate impeachment immediately or within the month. We'll be full into election season mode., Impeachment isn't going to fly during a presidential election year and would carry great risk for the party pushing it at that point.
Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I think. Impeachment is off the table no matter how hard any of us push ... unless leadership pushes it right now. But they didn't want it to begin with, nor did Pelosi. I like her strength, but I disdain her position on this (as I did re: Bush/Cheney).

Impeachment would have started the day after inauguration for a variety of crimes committed the instant he took the oath, most of which were emoluments. Although technically I guess it took a few weeks for the executive grifting to begin.

His staffer recorded my comments and said he will get back to me regarding his position on impeachment.
There is no grey area here. Both Rep Schrader and Nancy Pelosi will be judged by history as letting the most corrupt president in U.S. history not be held accountable as being a criminal- that is, if they take no action.

Disappointing.
I'm guessing DeLauro or Larson will eventually support impeachment hearings, and Hayes (my rep) said that she wants to let the investigative process play out before supporting impeachment.
Courtney is a good guy, but I think he'll be the last to come out to support impeachment.
