Actually said,” The bills would lead to a permanent Democratic Majority!” Well, duh, honest elections?

On another subject. I have been reading Article 2. Can an expert show me where a President can do anything he wants?

I can not seem to find it, but the Article says quite a bit about what Congress can do to a President who commits a crime or misdemeanor.

Help , any one?

The president has a fairly wide latitude on conducting foreign policy and there is some ability to execute the laws and direct the administration according to priorities, but there is nothing granting ANY branch or officer in government the ability to do anything they want.

Trump is ridiculous and needs to be removed from office.

Cheating is the only way republicans can win.

They don't give a damn about this country.

They don't even like this country.

They want to live in an all white, corporate controlled theocracy.

They will lie, cheat, and steal to achieve their objectives.

They are the greatest threat this country has ever faced.

They don't believe in equality, justice, or liberty for all.

They want to control the women of this country.

They want to deport anyone who is not white, unless they are in their immediate family.

They don't give a damn about the majority of people in this country.

They are the enemy.

They are evil.

They have no morals.

They have no empathy.

They are dangerous !!!!

are either compromised or so wedded to the power and grift that they can't let go. Regardless of the reason, their actions are treasonous. Could anyone have predicted that Republicans who have worshipped at the statue of Ronald Reagan would defend the likes of Trump or Vladimir Putin? There was a Republican just the other day accusing Mueller and his team of unfairly and maliciously smearing . . . Putin and his mob regime.

It's horrifying but we no longer have a loyal opposition party. They've all turned into treacherous snakes.

I think the GOP 100% did not expect to win the WH in 2016. They know it was an electoral fluke that wont happen again. They know what their future chances look like with the changing demographic of America. So they are just doing everything possible in regards to laws, taxes, judges, etc... to help preserve some of their vision of America for the future and make it more difficult for a progressive agenda to be enacted. Once Trump is gone, they will pretend he never existed and play defense again with their new judges, tax code and laws.

The best "evidence" of this is that so many "never-Trumpers" have essentially come around to rarely criticize Trump in a way that it makes the GOP look like "the bad guy" in place of Democrats. That's why - even though they know they could accomplish the same agenda with Mike Pence as POTUS for the next 1.5 years - they would be harming the "GOP Brand" by siding with Democrats for Impeachment and removal.

They are the minority in the country hanging on by their fingernails. And, of course, you're right the demographics paint a very bleak picture for the Republican/conservative 'vision.' But . . .

defending Putin and these strongmen tyrants, allowing our election infrastructure to be compromised by foreign entities, and/or allowing the rule of law to be spit upon is beyond the pale. For me, there have been too many instances where Republicans have actively engaged in despicable, unlawful actions. For the rest of their membership, they have been complicit in their silence and seriously threaten our security, both here and abroad.

Which is why I say repeatedly: Never forget, never forgive.
