Since I started watching politics in 2000, I've noticed one of the GOP's favorite irresponsibility hacks is telling democrats that they're either too early or too late in their requests.

Another shooting: "It's too soon to discuss gun control"
"It's too soon for LGBT serving openly in the military."
"It's too soon to consider a national minimum wage."
"Whatever mistakes were made in the past don't matter now. The people want jobs and solutions that help them with their families. That's in the past. We can't go back now and keep prosecuting the same war."

Regardless of the topic or issue, whatever the dems want to do to be responsible civic leaders is pushed aside with the standard:

"It's not you.
It's not your issue.

It's YOUR TIMING."

Well, guess what, Goldilocks: YOU CAN'T TRY THAT THIS TIME!!!
