The Associated Press reports:
The news outlet NowThis has attracted attention with videos that illustrate inconsistencies by Fox News personalities, like one posted today that contrasts the news networks treatment of Michelle Obama with her successor as first lady, Melania Trump.
Clips show Fox commentators criticizing Michelle Obamas wardrobe, saying she needed to drop a few pounds and calling her the merchant of death. Meanwhile, Melania Trump is called stunning, spectacular and a woman of strength who should be revered.
Fox, for its part, pointed out that NowThis was founded by two men who worked on the Huffington Post, which the network regards as a liberal publication that opposes it.
The clip is really something. Watch it all.
Melania Trump and Michelle Obama receive shockingly different coverage from Fox News, a supercut

(1,480 posts)But Fox can continue to deny reality--in this case, in the form of their own videotapes--all they want. It's all they've got to work with.

Really not a fair comparison. There is no way mrs trump can compete with the natural grace and beauty of Michelle. Not to mention class, intelligence, humor, humanity...

(32,638 posts)...that was shown towards Barack and Michelle Obama for their 8 years in the White House.
Yes Faux Snooze was the worst, but really all the GOP/conservative pundits were horrible towards the First Family. I blush with embarrassment for my country every time I think of it. The Obama Family was a shining example of American wholesomeness and goodness the entire time, but the conservative media and Repuke Party showed them nothing but rudeness.

(10,169 posts)Michelle Obama is a beautiful, intelligent and accomplished woman. Melaria is a nude model and escort who couldn't finish college even though tuition in Slovenia is free.
Melaria is a gold digger who prefers to use he surgically enhanced body instead of her mind. Why Trump married her has more to do with the dirt she has on him than any loving relationship.
But this sex worker is who Fox holds out to America as a sterling example for our daughters to follow?

(19,201 posts)but no one can seem to find it, or locate any College or University she attended to earn that Master's Degree. You know how those old-world Universities and Colleges come and go though. You'd think such a noted College or University would beam with pride for educating the future "worst lady"of the United States. But she had to have one because she was granted an elite EB-1 programdubbed the "Einstein visa" while she was dating "The Donald". Her achievements to that point in life seem to be posing for photographs in her underwear, and appearing in several print advertisements. So she must have that Master's Degree, right? Then her parents "chain migrated" after her. The old "do as I say, not as I do" republican bullshit.

(19,201 posts)The oldest profession, so to speak. I love that gif with the two women on the bicycle. I wonder if they live in that sharp single-wide trailer, or the little Cape Cod next door? I have a hunch, but I'll keep it to myself.

(17,984 posts)Why can't we just admit that Faux is a racist program, hosted by racists and watched by racists? It really is as simple as that.

(49,988 posts)Yes, racism is a factor, but arguably Fox hates Hillary as much as, or even more than Michelle.

(17,984 posts)I agree that there are other factors that make Faux nasty, such as misogyny and xenophobia. With HRC, I think it was the misogyny. With the Obamas, it came down to race. They may have used misogyny and xenophobia to pick on them, but the impetus was racism.
