The power and value of open hearings is undeniable.

The Mueller hearings moved the needle towards impeachment. Even journalistic malpractice after the hearings could not stop it. Mueller did not fail, it was not a clown show. Those hearings were devastating and its now on video. It will be show hundreds of times. It will be shown over and over again during the rest of the investigation.

The saying you have to show the American people the movie is true.

1. Poll: No impeachment bump after Mueller's testimony

A new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll, conducted immediately after former special counsel Robert Mueller’s congressional testimony, shows little impact on support for impeaching President Donald Trump, with a plurality of voters still opposed to beginning proceedings that could result in Trump’s removal from office.

Only 37 percent of voters say Congress should begin impeachment proceedings against Trump, according to the poll, which was conducted Thursday. More voters, 46 percent, say Congress should not begin impeachment proceedings. Sixteen percent of voters are undecided...

That poll was probably taken to soon. The news media is finally starting to catch up after their malpractice of how they saw the hearings. Things are starting to change, you can see it.

Impeachment is not a viable option and will only backfire if pursued. Without enough substance to convince a large majority of Americans that impeachment is the ONLY option, Dems will look foolish as they continue to flirt with the “possibility” of impeachment. Mueller’s investigation and the subsequent hearings/testimonies in both the House and Senate will offer no solution to getting rid of Trump. The limits that were placed Mueller’s investigation and testimony, coupled with the uncooperative nature of subpoenaed individuals in the Trump administration have hindered any justice. Trump and company have been and continue to be happy for all these processes to take place because they know there is no “smoking gun” or they know it is so far buried that they can’t get undeniably caught. They let Flynn, Manafort, Cohen, etc... be the fall guys. It’s all a sham and has been from the get go. Dems can’t win the investigations/hearings war. It will only hurt them come 2020. Focus should be put on winning the presidency and finding a way to win back the Senate. Yes, we are in trouble.

6. Yes and yes

Too many loose strings in the lines of investigations. Yes these are serious matters (crimes) that many dedicated public servants are trying to expose but it won’t be enough to convince the majority of Americans (or enough Repubs) that impeachment is the right course of action. Even if impeachment occurs the Senate will not convict and remove. Trump and company would spin such an outcome to their favor.
As far as the news, I don’t buy the sincerity of most MSM organizations. They are run by corporations which are inextricably tied to political figures interested in controlling a story and the mindset of Americans. That trending story can change very quickly.

The evidence is clear and it is now on video. More evidence of Trumps crimes will be found as the Democrats continue to investigate. What are the going to say. trump is guilty but we are not going to impeach all the way to the election. I don't think so.

Damned if we do, damned if we don’t. The “evidence” has been known for some time, and I don’t the the minds of a large majority of Americans has changed all that much, certainly not for the Senate which would guarantee conviction and removal. Impeachment alone will not be a victory.
