As long as the Republicans control the senate there is very little hope for effect legislation regardless of its value. Norquest summed it up nicely. He said the people who drew up the map of the nation gave use all those nice square states out west with three people who live in them, two are Republican Senators and the other a Republican congressman. The Democratic vote is concentrated in the cities and even with a majority the Republican still won control of the House in 2012. They have lost six of the last seven elections popular vote count. They system simple doesn't favor the Democrats.

Vermin. That's what he thinks about people of color and really just about everyone but himself, his family and anyone willing to say nice things about him. It's IQ45's ultimate projection. Somewhere deep inside, he knows that's exactly what he is. Vermin. So, in my mind, that drives his constant need for compliments and approval and his destructive behavior when he doesn't get them.

that need for constant adulation makes him act in such a way that he gets vehement vituperation spit at him from every quarter. The people who adore him are the very people he despises the most. He would never walk among them or let them touch him.

From The Guardian UK:

Trump slams 'rat-infested' district – but his own restaurant had a rodent problem
President claims Elijah Cummings’ congressional district is a ‘mess’ months after health inspectors visited Trump Tower Grille

Edward Helmore in New York
Sat 27 Jul 2019

Link: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/jul/27/trump-attacks-rat-infested-district-after-rodents-reported-in-trump-tower

(snip)

Donald Trump attacked the House oversight committee chair, Elijah Cummings, on Saturday, claiming his congressional district in Baltimore was a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess”. But Trump has had his own problems with rodents. For example, in February, the Trump Tower Grille in the president’s signature Manhattan property was reported for “live mice” and other health code violations.

New York City health inspectors visited the restaurant on 11 July 2018 and found “evidence of mice or live mice” in and around the kitchen, a violation of sanitary standards that was deemed to be “critical”. The inspectors also found the restaurant to be “not vermin-proof” and said it was “conducive to attracting vermin” and “allowing vermin to exist”.

The New York Daily News reported that the Trump Tower restaurant has been cited for health code violations in each of the past five years, including sightings of “live roaches” in 2016 and “filth flies” in 2017.

Of course the building attracts low-life critters, it has an open invitation for vermin sign on the front: "TRUMP TOWER".

I don’t see how he can win the popular vote n 2020 but it is America so if he can squeak by in the right states....the nightmare goes on to new heights.

To redirect attention away from Epstein, Putin , and his taxes, knowing that they will expose him, and his followers will desert him even more now. He is also doing this to pick a fight with Harris, and to use to go after all minorities as he's done to migrants, and to hurt them as badly as he can in any way he can abusing his powers. There is a method to his madness, he picks fights knowing there's a higher goal.
