Were I Elijah Cummings

I would start with if you want to attack me start with spelling my name correctly.
Then I'd add the past paragraph of the Baltimore Sun editorial

Finally, while we would not sink to name-calling in the Trumpian manner — or ruefully point out that he failed to spell the congressman’s name correctly (it’s Cummings, not Cumming) — we would tell the most dishonest man to ever occupy the Oval Office, the mocker of war heroes, the gleeful grabber of women’s private parts, the serial bankrupter of businesses, the useful idiot of Vladimir Putin and the guy who insisted there are “good people” among murderous neo-Nazis that he’s still not fooling most Americans into believing he’s even slightly competent in his current post. Or that he possesses a scintilla of integrity. Better to have some vermin living in your neighborhood than to be one.

Trump's handlers are going to have to do some fine "fluffing" to remove the mark that is going to leave.

I mean I wasn't into name calling but Trump isn't a normal president, isn't a normal person. I call him Pedo45 now.

Maybe we should start calling his Republican enablers, "fluffers?"

Trump has no ideology those who follow are pure raw racists or worse. Trump is in this for the money and to stay out of jail. He adapts to their racism they give him oxygen and feed his mental illness. It might be possible in other circumstances Trump would have developed other positions as long as they benefit him.

I would just give the Barack Obama response:

?itemid=3884475

Responding to that motherfucker in any other way is giving him EXACTLY what he wants: Controversy and distraction. It's looooong past time to take away his binkie.

That being said, the Baltimore Sun is spot-on.

had to have been, immediately getting together (as I imagine it) to respond and the words crafted with a sword-like sharpness just flowed to the page.

Good on them.

Very well done!

I don't call it name-calling any more than putting a "Danger" sign on a broken stretch of highway is name-calling. It's a public service!!

Though he undoubtedly has his moments when narcissistic delusion makes him believe he can gnaw his way out and come after all who dare threaten him.

records are incredibly clean compared to the agents of corruption who've been installed in Republican seats.
