Not clicking to get the truth is the action, but the reason isn't just laziness.

"And they do this because they are so willing and happy to think it's true that they don't question."

It is dead wrong. Should be changed or post deleted.
US economy is still - by far - the largest in the world. No need to actually produce fake news to make a point.
