Did Hurd announce he wasn't running because trump picked Ratcliffe?
If I was Hurd, I would have been insulted that I wasn't asked to consider a nomination to DNI. Instead, they ask the sycophant. Sure, Hurd was only one of four republicans to vote for the resolution condemning trump for his attacks on the "Quad". But he would have been a shoe-in with the Senate.
