Former CIA analyst.

I wonder if he helped fabricate CIA intelligence for Bush & Cheney so they could invade Iraq?

But I love him 90% of the time. He’s a pragmatist who loves this country. Our greatest split is over his absolute hatred of all religious faith.

I can’t stand much about modern Christianity in this country (or a lot about other faiths) but I hope to never come to the point that I hate faith altogether.

He’s also a fellow Cornell alum, so I give him a few points for that.
