Stephen King DOES NOT mince words with turtle #MoscowMitch...

Leader McConnell
@senatemajldr

The entire nation is horrified by today's senseless violence in El Paso. Elaine's and my prayers go out to the victims of this terrible violence, their families and friends, and the brave first responders who charged into harm’s way.

Adelson.

Gun CEOs:

Two of the NRA’s biggest financial contributors are foreign-owned firearms companies from Italy — Beretta ($1 million to $5 million level) and Benelli ($500,000 to $1 million level).

Here are five of the NRA’s biggest gun industry backers who have contributed $1 million or higher. They include the biggest financial contributor — MidwayUSA, a distributor of high-capacity magazines, but also oil and gas company Clayton Williams Energy, Inc. Other gun industry donors include Beretta USA Corporation, Pierce Bullet Seal Target Systems, LLC, and Springfield Armory, Inc.

Why do oil and gas companies donate to the NRA? Because gun identity politics gets votes for climate change denial. And Clayton Williams Energy doesn't care who gets killed as long as they can make money right now by pushing off climate change action.

Public control is somewhat synonymous with democracy. Transparency is also a word that is used frequently.

Groups like DU, ProPublica and many others are trying to link these clubs together. Following the money is usually a good first start. Other ties include "friends-of-friends" and cohorts in other organizations. The work by the Panama Papers is a good source.

Let's get what we know out there and support organizations that further these goals.

Beware of false friends, however.

Government is a form of power to the people.
Rightwing billionaires don’t want the people to have power. They don’t want rule of law; they don’t want elected officials whose terms end and leave politics.

THEY want to have as much power as possible. And they want to have it as long as they can. This is why rightwing billionaires and autocracy are quite similar.

That’s why rightwing billionaires donate to NRA, Limbaugh, anti-choice groups, Ben Shapiro, other radicalizers of young white men, the tea party, and rightwing media.

Most billionaires are conservatives.
They are spending money to pursue power and they don’t care who gets hurt in the process.
There are no greater enemies of American democracy today than rightwing billionaires.

The tragedy in El Paso was the 291st mass shooting this year.
Earlier this year, the House passed common sense gun safety legislation, HR 8 and HR 1112.
Mitch McConnell won’t allow a vote in the Senate on either bill. Enough is enough

Stephen King nails McTurtle. Also says what most of us think. When 90% of the American public demanded sensible gun control after Sandy Hook, McConnell and his Republican cohorts sent thoughts and prayers. Enough! They're all complicit.

Moscow Mitch, Twitler,, all of their ilk. Aided by the pervasiveness of right wing propoganda.

They have convinced millions that poor people and immigrants, and the “other”, be it people of color or LBGT.....are to blame for any problems they might have.

Republicans, when in power, spend like their is no tomorrow, running up the debt. When out of power all of a sudden they are worried about it.

It amazes me that more middle class people cannot comprehend this. Because they have forfeited critical thinking we are closer than ever to a real life “1984” and “The Handmaid’s Tale”.

not scary just a bit paranormal.

"The Body" - the short story which was the basis for the movie "Stand By Me" is not scary, just suspenseful.
"Haven" is a TV series is loosely based on the novel "Colorado Kid" It is paranormal to the max and I really enjoyed it.

Here is a list
