They're currently calling the El Paso shooting a hate crime instead of terrorism.

Which is really too bad, because what that guy did- killing a whole bunch of innocent, defenseless people to forward political goals- was terrorism, not a hate crime. It should be described and referred to with much stronger language.

wouldn't it help their cause if they did call it terrorism? It's like then they can group it the general "bad" and not have to apologize for their actions.
