Did you miss this mass-murder & BREAKING NEWS: 8CHAN CANCELLED?

Two larger mass-murders apparently eclipsed this smaller slaughter that appears to have been perpetrated by a right-wing extremest, if you read the entire article, instead of just the headline.

Gilroy shooter read literature from both left and right, FBI says
By RICHARD WINTON, HANNAH FRY, RUBEN VIVES

GILROY, Calif. — The motive behind the Gilroy Garlic Festival rampage that left three dead remained a mystery Wednesday, with federal authorities saying literature found in searches of gunman Santino William Legan’s homes ran the gamut from left to right.

John Bennett, FBI special agent in charge, said they had not determined the ideology of the Gilroy shooter and had recovered “conflicting literature” during searches in Nevada and Gilroy.

The Los Angeles Times, however, only reported on one piece of literature, endorsed by "the shooter."

Before the attack, Legan posted a photo on Instagram of a Smokey Bear sign warning about fire danger, with a caption instructing people to read an obscure novel glorified by white supremacists: “Might Is Right” published under the pseudonym Ragnar Redbeard.

The book, published in 1890, includes discredited principles related to social Darwinism that have been used to justify racism, slavery and colonialism, said Brian Levin, director of Cal State San Bernardino’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism. https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2019-07-31/gilroy-shooting-motive-santino-william-legan

Instigators appear "reasonably confident" that this sociopath was a right-wing extremist.

Investigators 'reasonably confident' Texas suspect left anti-immigrant screed, tipped off before attack
Aug. 3, 2019, 6:10 PM MDT
By Ben Collins NBC News

The document is being considered a "nexus to a potential hate crime," officials said.

Investigators are examining a screed believed to have been posted online by the suspect in Saturday's fatal shooting at a Texas shopping mall an hour before the attack, senior law enforcement officials say.

Investigators are “reasonably confident” that the suspect, identified by police as Patrick Wood Crusius, 21, of Texas, posted the diatribe on the extremist online forum 8chan before the shooting.

The screed posted to the anonymous extremist message board railed against immigrants in Texas and pushed talking points about preserving European identity in America. The attack left at least 20 dead and 26 injured. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/investigators-reasonably-confident-texas-suspect-left-anti-immigrant-screed-tipped-n1039031

Unlike previous mass-murders, this killer appears to lack ANY political motivation.

The Dayton shooter wore a mask, bulletproof vest and hearing protection as he opened fire, police chief says
By Jay Croft and Darran Simon, CNN
Updated 10:58 PM ET, Sun August 4, 2019

(CNN)A gunman who wore a mask, bulletproof vest and hearing protection was killed by police within 30 seconds of opening fire on Sunday in a popular nightlife district in downtown Dayton, Ohio, authorities said.

Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl released a timeline of the early morning shooting that left nine people dead, including the gunman's sister.

Authorities found writings linked to the shooter that show he had an interest in killing people, two federal law enforcement sources told CNN. A preliminary assessment of the writings did not indicate any racial or political motive, the sources said.

"We do not have sufficient information to answer the question everyone wants to know: 'Why?'" Biehl said, adding that there was "no evidence [that] suggests that there is a bias motive in this crime at this time." https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/04/us/dayton-ohio-active-shooter/index.html https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/04/us/dayton-ohio-active-shooter/index.html

As for the first two mass-murders, these freaks appear to be playing follow the leader:

Cloudflare has had enough, cutting off 8chan
Cloudflare CEO says site may return, but it'll be someone else's problem.
JOHN TIMMER - 8/4/2019, 8:39 PM

In the wake of Saturday's mass shooting in El Paso, in which 20 people lost their lives, it was discovered that the shooter had posted a racist manifesto on the imageboard site 8chan. That was the third time this year alone that a mass shooting has involved the notorious site, and its hosting service decided that was finally enough. As of midnight on the US West Coast, the Cloudflare service provider will cut off 8chan.

This isn't the first time that the popular service provider has severed its ties to one of its customers over offensive content. In 2017, the host dropped the white supremacist website the Daily Stormer, a move that left it without a host briefly. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2019/08/cloudflare-has-had-enough-cutting-off-8chan/

Even without their hate-mongering website, this horror story is just beginning.

4. A further exploration of that idea that I found useful:
Mon Aug 5, 2019, 01:49 AM
Aug 2019

A small excerpt:

Tolerance is not a moral absolute; it is a peace treaty. Tolerance is a social norm because it allows different people to live side-by-side without being at each other’s throats. It means that we accept that people may be different from us, in their customs, in their behavior, in their dress, in their sex lives, and that if this doesn’t directly affect our lives, it is none of our business. But the model of a peace treaty differs from the model of a moral precept in one simple way: the protection of a peace treaty only extends to those willing to abide by its terms. It is an agreement to live in peace, not an agreement to be peaceful no matter the conduct of others. A peace treaty is not a suicide pact.

Network provider Cloudflare to drop 8chan after El Paso shooting
Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince said the anonymous internet forum's "lawlessness" caused "multiple tragic deaths."

Aug. 4, 2019, 9:52 PM MDT
By Tim Stelloh and Brandy Zadrozny

Cloudflare’s CEO, Matthew Prince, wrote in a blog post that his company was dropping 8chan after gunmen in Christchurch, New Zealand, and Poway, California, also used the site.

Cloudflare provides services like protection against common cyberattacks that can cripple websites, and Prince has described himself as a “free-speech absolutist." The company has only cut service once before — to neo-Nazi site the Daily Stormer after a white supremacist protest in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Cloudflare's decision to stop doing business with Daily Stormer did not mark the end of the extremist website. It is still operational thanks in part to Bitmitigate, a Seattle-based company that provides similar services to Cloudflare.

Frederick Brennan, who started 8chan, told The New York Times on Sunday that the website should be shut down.

6. The key word in Ghandi's message is Mutual with one side
Mon Aug 5, 2019, 03:37 AM

intolerant and the other tolerant, that does not equal mutual tolerance.

In the second one, the key is Tolerance. Again one side is intolerant and the other is tolerant so by definition, the intolerant side is NOT going to tolerate the other.

Tolerance cannot be one sided. It takes two to tango.

A dependable online news sources reported this at 9:32 AM on 8/5/19:

Sporadic Outages at 8chan After a Pair of Mass Shootings
Security provider withdraws support for 'cesspool of hate' 8chan online forum following mass shootings in Texas and Ohio.
By Associated Press, Wire Service Content Aug. 5, 2019, at 9:32 a.m.

On its Twitter account, operators for 8chan said there might be downtime in the next one or two days as the site seeks a solution. https://www.usnews.com/news/business/articles/2019-08-05/security-cut-off-for-cesspool-of-hate-8chan-forum

I am sure that 8chan will reopen. And, as a result of all the publicity, new, hate-filled, right-wing websites will become available soon.

As I stated in the OP, "This horror-story is just beginning."

This recent article in Newsweek appears plausible:

BTW, thanks for your comments. While I might question the source of your information, I have little doubt that not only 8chan will reopen but also media attention will create new online cesspools to breed bigotry, antisemitism, homophobia and mass-murder, by right-wing terrorist.

Not according to this dipshit conservative writer I saw on Twitter, who denied that the Tangerine Colostomy Bag had anything to do with the El Paso shooting, even though hundreds of people called him out on it on Twitter. He's really diving into the Whataboutsim and saying that the Dayton's shooting was influenced and encouraged by Senators Sanders and Warren.

I'm only bringing him up because I saw so many people reblogging his tweet about El Paso that seemed compassionate. But if you scratched off the thin coating, you'd find an unrepentant MAGAt shitweasel underneath.

I hate these people with the heat of a nova. (to borrow a quote from Toby Ziegler a-la The West Wing.)

A look back at Trump comments perceived by some as encouraging violence
By MEGHAN KENEALLY

President Donald Trump on Thursday praised a congressman’s past assault on a reporter, making it the latest example where he appears to encourage or support violence.

In the latest instance, Trump referenced Rep. Greg Gianforte’s 2017 attack on a reporter by saying that “any guy who can do a body slam, he is my type!”

In Trump's own words "Even in elementary school, I was a very assertive, aggressive kid," Trump wrote in the bestseller. "In the second grade I actually gave a teacher a black eye — I punched my music teacher because I didn't think he knew anything about music and I almost got expelled.

In Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on the day of the Iowa caucuses, for instance, he told audience members he would pay their legal fees if they engaged in violence against protesters.

At a Las Vegas rally later that month, he said security guards were too gentle with a protester. "He's walking out with big high-fives, smiling, laughing," Trump said. "I'd like to punch him in the face, I'll tell you."

A similar situation unfolded at a rally that month in Warren, Michigan.

"Get him out," he said of a protester. "Try not to hurt him. If you do, I'll defend you in court. Don't worry about it."

"Please don't be too nice" to suspects, Trump tells police
Trump seemed to encourage police to be more violent in handling potential offenders during a speech to law enforcement officers in July 2017.

On July 2, 2017, Trump shared the doctored video, from a 2007 WWE skit in which he is seen taking down WWE owner Vince McMahon. In the version Trump shared, McMahon's face is blocked by the CNN logo. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/back-trump-comments-perceived-encouraging-violence/story?id=48415766
