Maybe instead of blaming video games, Kevin McCarthy and company should look in the mirror

To them, everything is a war...

War on terror
War on drugs
War on gangs
Culture war
Clash of civilizations
War against the "deep state"
Invasion from the southern border
And apparently, even a war on Christmas

You can turn a video game off, how do you turn off the talk from Fox News or from the Senate or the White House that says there is a war going on, with the "other" being the enemy?

ad nauseam from the right is something that sooner or later has to result in violent reactions. And it might be what shows like the one from Ingraham want. Surely there are some who are deranged enough to interpret it as their patriotic duty to "preserve" their culture and way of life against this invasion. The hatred is stirred and reinforced again and again.

Without having read the manifestos that often enough come with these massacres, I doubt it's about people detailing that they did it because they want to play Fortnite or Counterstrike in real life.
