I live about 20 miles north of Dayton so we've been watching it almost since it happened.

I was awake when the news broke on TV at about 1:30 or 2.

All officials involved have really kept us informed and even the local news has done a credible of reporting without sensationalizing it.

Nan Whaley has been great for Dayton. She's smart without being snooty.

I also used to run and work in the Oregon District back on the late '70's & early '80's.

It has really changed for the better in the last 25_30yrs.

It's really a nice place for a night out. There is almost any venue you want. Be it a restaurant or bar or music.
