Palin was right about one thing.

The strength of the blowback on her inaccuracies probably had an element of sexism to it.

Ryan's speech was more fact challenged than any one of Palin's speeches and it has been duly noted by the media, even RW leaning sources like Fox and Yahoo politely stating that the speech was a series of known untruths.

If Palin had given that speech 4 years ago she would have been laughed off of the ticket immediately. She didn't get this many facts wrong until she was in her third week of the campaign.

If Ryan had been a woman and gave that speech last night there would be serious talk about replacing him (her).

1. She was laughed off the ticket the moment McCain announced her. Ryan's evil, not stupid.

Seriously, I think Ryan has a few more than a handful of brain cells.

2. If you compare the two speeches you will find that hers was more factual and his more filled

not only with falsehoods but known falsehoods.

Ryan 'has more brain cells' falls into the 'brave' category that he has been put into.

How smart is it to give a high profile speech where all the main points are based on facts that event he RW media is acknowledging has no basis in fact.

3. Ya betcha. She isn't intelligent enough to construct a lie. He's just evil. She's a fucking moron.

To be fair, I never thought I'd see anyone on a presidential ticket that was more of a moron than Quayle. The shrub proved me wrong and then Palin proved me wrong again. No wonder the rest of the world laughs at America. Obama's the first president I've been totally proud of since Carter. I'd like to include Clinton in there, but I'm more proud of him now than when he was in office.

I wanted to find out if the one thing she was right about in her entire life was ...

Don't eat the yellow snow.

Although, she might've gotten the color wrong unless somebody wrote it on her hand....

5. the thing with people like Palin, BAchmann, Gohmert etc

they really believe the crap they are saying. Ryan knows he was lying , he knows his audience is full of idiots .

but Palin IS really one of them. Paul Ryan is not one of them. he would never want to spend time with ignorant , non wealthy, types in the audience. he just wants their votes so he can push an agenda to benefit people like himself and Romney.

when Ryan talks about liking ac/dc led zeppelin , working out etc he sounds like he is trying to hard to be cool . with Palin she really does go hunting, and do all the other shit she is so proud of.
