Interesting occurrence.

Does this illustrate anything? I think it must, but can't put my finger on it.

We had a condo board once that were widely viewed as "a bunch of Nazis." They were arrogant, authoritarian, and frequent purveyors of distorted facts. All my buddies were sure the chair was a Trump supporter. It was a given. One day I got an email from the chair of the board (worst "Nazi&quot . It was clearly sent to me by accident. I was one of several people, none of them condo owners, and showed a conversation delighting in some bad thing Trump had faced. (can't remember what). It was obviously a converation among several liberal friends. Quite a surprise.

a first post to dis on Dems is a 'good thing'?

DU IS a place to explore and disagree with each other. DU also is a place that constantly gets attacked by people who pretend to be Democratic. Why make the first post to agree with someone saying something negative about Dems, even if you DO agree (which I do) but, not the first post.

you assume the role you are playing; if you are on an HOA Board, you can act one way (possibly thought of as unpopular due to a point of contention amongst residents) and be capable of exhibiting extremely different behavior when you are assuming the role of someone discussing politics amongst friends.
