Trump consoled hospital staff by telling them of his huge rally crowd compared to Beto's

A smiling, joyful Donald Trump dutifully made the journey to the University Medical Center of El Paso to meet with the survivors and first responders.

The survivors of the shooting were not so happy to see him. In fact, none of the eight patients who remain hospitalized were willing to meet with him. Two survivors who’ve been released returned to the hospital for the photo op.

Incredibly, the White House banned all media from traveling to the hospitals to meet with victims. The reason, they said, was this was not meant to be a photo op, this was about Donald Trump consoling the victims and first responders. Based on the video below, it’s easy to see why they didn’t want actual media reporting on Donald Trump’s actions.

There was no consoling. Trump appears to have walked around smiling, cracking jokes, and being the Narcissist-in-Chief, immediately turned the conversation back to his favorite subject: himself. Here is a video taken by one of the people at the hospital. Listen to this pathetic, insecure person change the subject to his rally size, even going so far as to compare it to Beto O’Rourke’s event.

He says that several times, like that's the really important thing.

No questions about how they're doing after having to deal with this tragedy, about how the patients are doing, about what the administration can do to help. Just PR sht.

And he apparently "calls out" Cornyn and some other dignitary, ignoring the actual medical staff, and then shakes the hand of someone who had been at his rally? Who had organized for it? And he brags about how there were "twice as many outside" and bigger than Beto's, and then he's all jovial when the guy pulls up his pants leg and he's got Trump socks on. "Don't show that to the press! They won't even believe it. They believe it only on election day" (something like that). Laughing, Melania laughing, "let's get a picture!"

You'd never know that there are 8 people nearby who were just shot in a massacre (and refused to see him).
Jeez, he's hollow. Shallow. I'd say inhuman, but most animals are better than he is.
