ICE raided a workplace in a red state, not near the border.

Why?

Perhaps:

1) to show red state Trump supporters that these "scary brown people" are everywhere, not just in big cities in blue states.

2) To give these voters a reason to say that these "scary brown people" are taking jobs meant for white people.

3) To show Trump is dealing with what he calls an invasion.

Apparently, he called in the complaint himself so he wouldn't have to reimburse these folk for labor violations.

In America, we call this a savvy business move.

But he can still try to use the footage and coverage to support his narrative and motivate his base.

crowing that Trump keeps his promises, boasting that he's doing what he said he would, getting rid of all the "illegal aliens" that are stealing their precious whatevers while on those killing and raping sprees that Trump said.

They're giddy at the numbers, don't have any compassion or concern over the kids or families torn apart. They would be happy to see Trump throw more tots in cages if that means no more brown skinned people.

I'm embarrassed... For me, for them... We can't become that sort of heartless, cruel and brutal people. We can't!

Those who excuse any cruelty as long as they are not the targets of the cruelty.
