The War on Children

Donald J. Trump, along with his party of spineless enablers, has declared war on many of us – the Democrats, the liberals/progressives, the people of colour, the LGBTQers, the media, the intelligence community – and pretty much anyone who believes in facts and science.

But the cruellest of the many, many GOP wars is their War on Children – children locked in cages, children going hungry because their school lunches are no longer free, children terrified to go to school for fear of being gunned-down in their classroom – and now children coming home from their first day of school to find their parents gone, picked up by ICE.

For all of the battles Trump and the Republican party have waged against any individual or group, their War on Children is the most indecent, immoral, and blatantly cruel – and it is also the most representative example of what the GOP, as a party, has become.

Apparently, it wasn’t enough to lock traumatized immigrant children in cages – the threat to American-born children had to be driven-home as well: If your parents weren’t born here, we can take them away. If your parents can’t afford nutritious food, we can take away that school lunch you rely on.

The GOP’s War on Children is their most egregious sin thus far – and anyone who ignores it, defends it, or makes excuses for it, is no different than a two-bit thug who threatens to ‘get to your kid’ if you don’t comply with his boss’s wishes.

Threatening children is beyond deplorable – actually inflicting pain on them as a means to demonstrate your political power is beneath contempt.

Matthew 19:14 King James Version (KJV)

14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

New rules:

Let them Suffer.

It is cruel, vicious, selfish and determined to rule even if it means the demise of democracy. GOP depends on a coalition of evil, a propaganda machine that Goebbels would envy, the inflaming of fear and hate to manipulate a population, and the subversion of democracy in order to maintain a minority rule by the cult it created.

GOP = Gangsters of Putin.

The War on Children.

OUTSTANDING memes to use and repeat and repeat and repeat - and did I say “repeat”?

And the “suffer the children” passage in Scripture takes on a whole new meaning.

EXCELLENT! It’s time WE weaponize OUR words. Repeatedly. It is urgent, important, necessary, and critical that we do that.

And repeat. BECAUSE it’s necessary.

I also recommend ads directed at farmers. "If you bought a lemon, you trade it in, even if it's your long time favorite brand."

And few things accomplish that, like inflicting cruelty on brown children.

I see it as a way to kick the whole phony-ass contrived “pro-life” positioning directly in the ass.

Remember the kkkarl rove strategy during bush2? “Attack them at their strengths.” Well? Game ON, then!

With this issue in particular. Because if you look at it broadly and deeply, you’ll be compelled to conclude that too many of their attitudes and their policies and preferences and demands just absolutely fly in the face of the concept of “pro-life.”

MY ASS they’re “pro-life”! It goes WAY beyond fixating on a small mass of differentiating cells inside the most private, personal, and intimate regions of a woman’s body.

When you’re okay with caging little children or tearing them forcibly away from their moms and dads, you’re NOT “pro-life.”

When you’re okay with the callous and disgraceful treatment of immigrants who’ve struggled their way up here from - and through - the most desperate of circumstances because America gives them a glimmer of hope - you are NOT “pro-life.”

I have a list of these that I need to go find. It grows longer week by tragic miserable week.

"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

is the political currency of the GOP. They are abnormal and have no place in a civil society. Anyway you cut it, there's no nice way to say Nazi.
