Rick Wilson:...We Know That the Real Donald Trump Is a Bad Man

As He Plays President in El Paso and Dayton, We Know That the Real Donald Trump Is a Bad Man
Trump is indifferent to tragedy, deaf to the call to decency, and willfully ignorant of the role American presidents must play in times of national mourning and crisis.

The first rule of Trump world is that everything Trump touches dies. Sorry, MAGAs. It’s just natural law.

The second rule is that there is no better version of Donald Trump.
The truth is in the asides, the raging tweets, the blurted statements on the White House lawn. What you see in those moments is the real man. The dead-eyed, flat-toned voice of the creature reading pre-chewed Teleprompter cud isn’t the real Trump.

snip//

The real Trump’s cynical appeals to racial animus aren’t coincidental to his presidency; they’re definitional. The real Trump is the racist lout who praised alt-right lardfather Steve Bannon just 24 hours before the shooting and who still employs Stephen Miller as his Secretary of White Nationalism. The real Trump is the man who has spent two years ranting about invading caravans full of rapists, murderers, and MS-13 gang members and gleefully putting children in cages.

The real Trump spent two weeks prior gleefully attacking Members of Congress of color, demanding they return to their homelands and referring to America’s minority cities as “infested.” The real Trump is a man who had his aides brag to the press about how all of this racial arson was brilliant 2020 base politics strategy.

A president showed up in Dayton and El Paso today. It’s too bad it was just another character in a tragic reality TV show, when we could have used the real thing.

trumpy the shit clown, is not human.

to be human requires empathy. he has none.

he's something other.

he's a psychopath.

The Dark Triad...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_triad

In psychology, the dark triad refers to the personality traits of narcissism, machiavellianism, and psychopathy.[1][2][3][4] They are called "dark" because of their malevolent qualities.[5][1][6][7]

Research on the dark triad is used in applied psychology, especially within the fields of law enforcement, clinical psychology, and business management. People scoring high on these traits are more likely to commit crimes, cause social distress and create severe problems for an organization, especially if they are in leadership positions (for more information, see psychopathy, narcissism, and Machiavellianism in the workplace). They also tend to be less compassionate, agreeable, empathetic, satisfied with their lives, and likely to believe they and others are good.[8]

All three dark triad traits are conceptually distinct although empirical evidence shows them to be overlapping. They are associated with a callous-manipulative interpersonal style.[9]

Narcissism is characterized by grandiosity, pride, egotism, and a lack of empathy.[10]
Machiavellianism is characterized by manipulation and exploitation of others, an absence of morality, and a higher level of self interest.[11]
Psychopathy is characterized by continuous antisocial behavior, impulsivity, selfishness, callous and unemotional traits (CU),[12] and remorselessness.[13]
A factor analysis carried out at the Glasgow Caledonian University found that among the big five personality traits, low agreeableness is the strongest correlate of the dark triad, while neuroticism and a lack of conscientiousness were associated with some of the dark triad members.[11]

he defined a monster as someone with no empathy.

I read that many many years ago and latched onto it. Since that time, I have made it my personal mission to read as much as I could on the topic of psychopathy.

since I'm not a psychologist, I can give my very non-professional opinion of the orange asshole: he's a fucking psychopath in spades.

we have a monster as a president.

The real Trump is the racist who refused to rent to Blacks. The same bastard that screamed that Obama wasn't a citizen and Muslim. He is the guy who has hired racists to staff his cabinet. The real Trump is the sexual molester of women that he brags about. The real Trump is the same one who bilked hundreds of contractors and declared numerous bankruptcies and bilked the gullible with a phony university. The list goes on and on. When our nation elects such a man as their president the end of what our forefathers created is in sight.

When millions of people who voted (D) in the previous two elections stay home and don't vote because they either didn't like the candidate or thought Trump would obviously lose. It wasn't the Russians as much as we want to blame them.

Rick Wilson wrote a whole book on “Everything trump Touches Dies”. Worked a plug in, right at the top.

But he’s quite correct about that.

Either something he has said or tweeted, or something his administration has done.

I can't even imagine what would constitute the "worst thing ever". When all the devastating and downright horrific statements, tweets, and acts are added up, I believe he and his administration will be THE WORST THING that has ever happened to the USA. I fervently hope you all (and the rest of us too) can survive it.

Someone (another declared white supremacist) told a reporter that El Paso and Dayton are just among the first massacres. Many others are planned. Looks like the one in Springfield MO was a foiled attempt.

has lived his entire empty life in a narcissistic bubble of unearned wealth and privilege, never having to lift a finger or give a damn about anybody else. Basically an undeclared king, Naomi Klein calls them "pampered princelings". There may be more useless bubble boys like him on the way as more wealth is inherited and used as leverage to "take over the world." No doubt that easy life of a king is what some of their cultists admire and want for themselves and their children.

Tired of reading and hearing speculation about whether he will be presidential today, or tomorrow.

Tired of endless iterations of stupid remarks, outrageous insults, disappointing performances.

Tired of his voice, his face, his hair, his stupid "style", his superficiality, his likes and dislikes.

WE HEREBY STIPULATE that everything about him is tedious and stupid and venal.

I am NOT tired of hearing evidence now being gathered by House Judiciary.

NOT tired of investigations into his corruption at home and abroad.

NOT tired of moving forward from each day's tedious headlines and into serious opposition research and analysis.
