It's not rational to take the Trump admin at face value.
Anything that on its face looks funny involving the Trump administration 100% most likely IS funny.
Donald Trump is a racist child abuser locking people seeking help in concentration camps. There's no reason to believe a damn thing someone like that, or his homeys, say.
There are well-founded and objective reasons not to take anything related to the Trump admin at face value don't let anyone convince you different.
