One thing for sure, Trump is much too stupid to know what to do, which is , "Just shut the fuck up."

If Trump had said, "Let's wait for the complete investigation of Epstein's death.", then maybe he would have gained some respect, because that is what a sane person would say. And I think he was told that by some advisors, or someone. Maybe? But Trump does the worst thing, accusing someone just to blame someone and he can get more publicity or whatever. Stupid is indeed stupid.

2. Think about it, Trump has most likely been told to "calm down" do not tweet for a while.

I don't know, but I am guessing that he has been told this by some advisors. And he totally ignores them, because of what you said, "....he has to give out his opinion on everything." How stupid is that?

10. More than that, I think, he has to deflect blame from himself and he chose Clinton by default.

He knows that either he, or Barr on his behalf, caused Epstein's death (at PUtin's recommendation?) because he totally could not handle the truth and wants the case closed before it's proven that he was indeed a child rapist. No security guard and the tapes fail right at the exact time this is going down is just stretching coincidence way too far.

And getting worse all the time.

Has he become more emboldened, or desperate, or deranged? Doesn’t matter why. He’s toxic.

Such a 'tell' - like nothing I've ever seen before [except, maybe for some 7th grade disfunctionals]

For us, for most DUers, for the trump extended family, for the millions who caught on to trump's immediate blaming/criticizing [oddly like the childhood 'I'm rubber, yer glue, whatever ever you say on me, bounces off me, and sticks to you' thing'] we have a pretty good idea of some things.

Namely, in blaming the Clinton's now, we now have an idea some bad stuff happened at the highest levels of the WH. We have a pretty good idea who was involved in the 'let it happen on purpose' vein.

At the Presidential level, all this is sort of . . . astonishing.

[Hopefully, it will be put to use privately and publicly].

the fascistic Republican takeover he happily finds himself the leader of, with of course enormous help from the real plotters among top Republicans, other RW seditionists including the religious right leaders embedded in DC, and of course foreign enemies.

In the enormous battle for power that's raging, these tweets from Der Leader are continuation of long-developed strategy, leadership of his committed foot soldiers, and distractions for everyone else.

And attacking the Clintons is neither accidental nor stupid; it's a tactic that's been working outstandingly for decades, though we can only hope it may now backfire more than it succeeds. But the Clintons represent liberals/Democrats not just to their rabid nutcases, but to large numbers of RW voters for whom partisan antagonism toward Democrats has always been far stronger than support for Trump. For those, it's not about getting them to believe ridiculous conspiracies, but just part of stoking fires of division and enmity across the right so they won't stay home on November 3.

11. Often wondered about this. Why he doesn't do the obvious smart thing - like acting presidential?

Read that during the Apprentice they had to do multiple takes to make him look like a wise and dignified business man.

So he CAN do it. Perhaps what he needs is a director in government, like he did on TV ?

To answer your question - you are seeing his severe narcissism kicking in??

it is how he controls his pods directly, and the media.

There is not masterplan or well thought out strategy to it.

But, he absolutely knows he has to keep the 40% tweaked out and distanced from reality to control them, knows he has to do it to control the media narrative, and knows throwing out endlish shit is wearing the country down.
