The only unembalmed deceased person I have personally seen was my mother, in the hospital, moments after her death. Since it was peaceful (she was 94) there was no wound.

It’s one of the ways that you know how long someone has been dead, by the extent of blood pooling.

If the case for a double was more solid, the comparison wouldn't have been made with a picture that looks as if it's from a decade ago or possibly more. The nose and ears are clearly bodyparts that can change over the years. Some very distinct and almost uique details of the ear are still visible.
