General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsConspiracy theorists, left and right, have very similar thoughts about Epstein.
Some of them believe Epstein is not dead. It was a "bodyswitch" of some sort?
Others believe he did not commit suicide. He was murdered.
He knew too much about very wealthy and very important people. They had to get rid of him.
They ask similar questions: Why did they take him off "suicide watch"? Why did they move his cell mate out? Why did they not check on him per protocol? How could they let him kill himself?
But where they differ is who they blame?
The Right believes that the Clintons were involved in some way in his "suicide". The Left believes Trump is deeply involved in some way with the sex trafficking. AG Barr is a very suspicious character in the suicide.
The Right believes those involved in the conspiracy are mostly Democrats and liberals, led by Bill Clinton and Bill Richardson. The Left seems to believe it is mostly the wealthy and elite from both Parties, believing they are above the law and they will never be caught.

(60,010 posts)but he had dirt of many many important people, including trump.
and it was trump who, as usual, projected Bill Clinton's name.
Which of course we knew was a projection
ergo...trump and others had motive.
Jus saying....

(16,386 posts)I mean who wants to listen to our intelligence agencies who said there were attempts to get into the systems in all 50 states. But hey, nothing to see.
But I have heard that same line a lot -- from Deplorables.

(182,802 posts)The great Arkansas railway mystery
Twelve years ago, two teenagers were murdered on a rural railroad track. Right-wing conspiracy theorists who blamed then-Gov. Bill Clinton for the killings have now lost a $600,000 libel suit in the case.
At that point, controversial film producer Patrick Matrisciana entered the scene. Matrisciana, from Hemet, Calif., is best-known for his 1994 conspiratorial "documentary" "The Clinton Chronicles," a mail-order film that's an underground bestseller on the Clinton-hating extreme right.
Matrisciana's resulting 1996 film on the railroad mystery, "Obstruction of Justice: The Mena Connection," alleged that the teenagers were killed after they accidentally witnessed a clandestine drug deal in which top state officials were involved.

If I remember the story, Goering made friends with a guard who retrieved a cyanide capsule from his personal belongings.

(5,526 posts)That Democrats were as all powerful as the Conspiracy nuts thought we were.
Somehow, Clinton apparently has enough pull to have someone killed right under the nose of the Trump administration within the Federal Prison system.
Obama was apparently capable of time travel in order to plant those birth notices in the Honolulu newspapers back in the fifties.

(7,820 posts)I believe he probably killed himself, but the being taken off suicide watch... feels like some powerful people decided, hey, he wants to kill himself? Probably best for everyone, so lets not stop him.
