The challenge is to make the electorate understand that governing by Twitter is not Presidential behavior.

Trying to out-twitter him simply legitimizes the degree to which he has lowered the Office of the Presidency

I don't want to even hear from the next President on Twitter, unless it's some bland government-related announcements. Trump's use of Twitter should be the exception, not become the rule for all future Presidents.

All that can be done is to escalate. Twitter is a “vast wasteland” and pretty much a scourge on society.

Neither candidates nor presidents should use it except to make announcements (e.g., Will speak in Wichita on Thursday.”)
