The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints confirmed Tuesday afternoon that someone improperly, posthumously baptized the late mother of President Obama into the Mormon faith.
Last June 4 the day after then-Sen. Obama secured enough delegates to win the Democratic presidential nominee someone had the presidents mother Stanley Ann Dunham, who died in 1995 of cancer, baptized.
On June 11, she received the endowment.
The White House had no comment.

They were thinking that far ahead -- after all, how would it look for him to diss Romney's when it paid such props to his moms?

(19,458 posts)Really.. what exactly is your problem with this? They're touting ROmney's mormonism tonight and I think this completely valid to show what type of disgusting shit they do. And apparently the other people on this thread didn't know it, either.

I'm also not surprised that the LDS didn't strike this baptism and others as "improper".
