She keeps drilling down to the real story beneath the other stories, and its terrifying.

(905 posts)This is who Moscow Mitch & Leningrad Lindsey are owned by. Both bent over backwards to get Deripaska and his companies off the Russian sanctions list and both are completely in this thug's pocket. This is the guy who Manafort passed campaign data to.

(90,837 posts)It was funny, in a painful sort of way, and another look into the appalling mess that is his brain. Worth watching, because I would not have believed it otherwise. Ended with a suggestion for what amounts to an intervention from Fox & Friends to get through to him what he will not believe from his advisors: that this is not possible.
Then she dropped that and continued with Russia's explicit strategy (which the Pentagon has written about) to create company towns and client states so beholden to Russia economically that they will do whatever the owners want just to keep the jobs and money.

It was introduced at the very last minute just before the session ended where the legislature would have to approve the investment.
As the representative put it, there wasn't much choice. The area where the plant is proposed is in one of the state's most economically challenged and to vote no on the measure would have sent an embarrassing signal for the Democratic Party in Kentucky.

(22,610 posts)I know it's popular to become fans and followers of those who want to present the truth to us all so we can parrot and repost it, but I prefer to think for myself even when I might agree with them.

(24,438 posts)but there are some bloggers and podcasts like Jackie Scheckner(sp?) who was collecting all of the Russia investigation information on her website (I think that she had to close down due to lack of funding or support) and Gaslit Nation Podcast- Sarah Kendizor and Andrea Chalupa- has devoted most of their time and resources towards the Russian investigation and talk a lot of about some of the seeds of it with Manafort and his work in the Ukraine prior to becoming part of the Trump campaign in 2016 and how his involvement changed the RNC platform. They have also discussed about Reality Winner, who's currently imprisoned for having leaked information about the Russia investigation.
