MANCHESTER, N.H. Even as markets show signs of a coming recession, President Donald Trump told New Hampshire voters Thursday that they had to support his re-election campaign or suffer the economic consequences.

President Donald Trump speaks at a campaign rally in Manchester, New Hampshire.
I won the election, the markets went up thousands of points, things started happening, Trump said at a rally here. If, for some reason, I were not to have won the election, these markets would have crashed. That will happen even more so in 2020. You have no choice but to vote for me, because your 401(k), everything is going to be down the tubes.
Whether you love me or hate me, you have got to vote for me, he added.
Trump, appearing at his first campaign stop in New Hampshire this year, delivered a wide-ranging speech lasting more than 90 minutes that addressed Hillary Clintons emails, eradicating the AIDS epidemic and the prospects of the nearly two dozen Democrats running for president against him.
Youve got Pocahontas is rising. Youve got Kamala, Kamala is falling. Youve got Beto, Beto is like, gone. Well see what happens. Whoever it is, I dont know that it matters, Trump said, referring to Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris and former Rep. Beto ORourke, before turning to former Vice President Joe Biden: I think Sleepy Joe might be able to limp across the finish line, maybe.
I sort of hope its him.

(51,584 posts)watch like with Bush (the most recent in a long list) and not land at the Dems feet if we win. Of course we will have to clean up their economic mess AS USUAL. And AS USUAL the GOP and their conveniently forgetful supporters will not give Dems credit for cleaning up another GOP economic disaster.

(50,267 posts)telling a reporter how happy he was to be able to go to the rally and support the president he "loved." He was a fat guy. I wonder how he felt when Trump cracked wise about an overweight protestor. Trump doesn't give 2 shits about these people, he just spots the easiest ones in the herd to grift and con. Buy your Trump Straws today - over $500,000 worth sold. Idiots.

(111,079 posts)He didn't create this economy and he didn't create this stock market.
Although his $2 trillion dollar taxcut did permit a lot of companies to buy back their stock. The average person, including our family farmers, did not profit from Mr Trump's economics. In short, he is full of shit.
He is in the process of screwing America - all of America.
It is sad.
