But seriously--that IS how he'll handle unemployment if he gets his way--into uniform to be cannon fodder!
Problem with that is this--what goes up, must go down. The Reagan Buildup was followed by the Cheney drawdown, and it was ugly and painful for many good people who served honorably and were told they were no longer needed. That was a sad time to be in uniform, even for the lucky ones who didn't get the boot.

(2,135 posts)but I did hear an interview with her on NBC, I think. Could have been CNN. They mentioned the fact that her speech seemed very hawkish. I forget her response.

N.B. Iran's army has 1,000,000 soliders and its Revolutionary Guards have 80,000+ troops. We will get a serious ass-kicking that makes Iraq and Afghanistan look like a chidlren's playground if we invade Iran.

If you take that away, then no other nation has "dared to test" our military since...1812.
