Problem with that is this--what goes up, must go down. The Reagan Buildup was followed by the Cheney drawdown, and it was ugly and painful for many good people who served honorably and were told they were no longer needed. That was a sad time to be in uniform, even for the lucky ones who didn't get the boot.

but I did hear an interview with her on NBC, I think. Could have been CNN. They mentioned the fact that her speech seemed very hawkish. I forget her response.
