SO, the guy Trump fat-shamed at last night's rally was actually a MAGAt.

Trump humiliated one of his own supporters — then called him but didn’t apologize

https://www.rawstory.com/2019/08/trump-accidentally-humiliated-one-of-his-own-supporters-then-called-him-but-didnt-apologize/

“That guy has got a serious weight problem!” Trump yelled at the man. “Go home, start exercising. Get him out of here, please! Got a bigger problem than I do! Got a bigger problem than all of us. Now he goes home and his mom says: ‘What the hell have you just done?’”

Trump seems to have thought he was talking about a protester who had disrupted the rally. But the Associated Press reported:

As the protesters were being led out, a Trump supporter wearing a “Trump 2020” shirt near them began enthusiastically shaking his fist in a sign of support for the president.

But Trump mistook him for one of the protesters …

That’s when Trump launched into his fat-shaming screed.

The Trump team seems to have figured out that the president messed up. Fat-shaming is nothing new for Trump, of course, but he sees no advantage in fat-shaming a fan. And so, according to multiple reports, the president called the man he attacked for being overweight.

1. I'll bet it didn't turn the guy against Trump, though.

He will probably have all of his MAGAt friends over for a living room rally so they can listen to it and cheer.

Dawson said Trump's mockery of him didn’t change his opinion of the president.

“I love the guy," Dawson told Fox. "He’s the best thing that ever happened to this country."

It's not logical. What is it about him that makes them think he is so wonderful? Besides the hate and the racism, of course.

Maybe I have actually answered my own question. Are people really that hateful and stupid?

6. Maybe it is a political form of Stockholm Syndrome?

He could be testing just how far he can go with that. I mean there is a hint of it in the "you will vote for me" rhetoric.

I think that fellow really exhibited signs of it if he is alright with being shamed and still supports the Orange Whale.

Stockholm syndrome is a condition often observed with abused or battered women, male or female in captivity, hostages, abused children, concentration camp prisoners, prisoner of wars, situations where females are controlled well by their spouses in relationships. The condition of stockholm syndrome is also seen in cult members or incest victims. In this stockholm syndrome, the victims fall in love as a survival strategy with their captors. Observations reveal that the victims seem to have a strong attachment or bond with their captors despite their captor's ill treatment towards their victims.

can only be defeated in battle.

I hope someone is making plans.

We really can lose everything: democracy, the country, the world.
