Many counter-protesters are dressed in costumes to show they’re not afraid. The first people I met were “clowntifa”



It feels like a circus out here... literally. This puppeteer, Isabel, is marching with their dad. Why wear silly costumes to a protest a Proud Boys rally? “They’re mad that we’re gay and weird. Guess what? We’re gayer and weirder than you could ever imagine.”
