Don the Con: "Consumer's are rich & loaded up with money"

"Our consumers are rich," Trump told reporters Sunday. "I gave a tremendous tax cut, and they’re loaded up with money."

Speaking before boarding Air Force One near his Bedminster club in New Jersey, Trump said, "I don't see a recession."

"I mean, the world is in a recession right now," he continued. "And although that's too big a statement, but if you look at China, China is doing very, very poorly. They've had, I just saw a report, they've had the worst year in 27 years because of what I've done."

When a reporter pointed out that some economists say Trump should prepare for a recession, Trump said, "I'm prepared for everything."

"Our consumers are rich," he added. "I gave a tremendous tax cut, and they’re loaded up with money."

Between their tendency to see themselves as victims of everything and the fact that most of them really are living paycheck to paycheck, I don’t think Donny telling them how loaded they are would get the raucous cheers that some of his other lines get.

The people motivated to go to Trump's rallies are all in. Sure, they might complain privately, but they will never turn on him publicly. They would have to admit they were taken for the suckers they are.

it's like he's saying "all the good people are rich and got huge tax cuts, the rest of you can fuck right off"
and his base loves it
no, those aren't his words, rather a nutritious part of the bigger message

the rich are the consumers
the rich are the producers
the rich are the job creators
the rich are beloved of God

if you aren't a producer, consumer, job creator, or beloved of God, what are you?

eventually his supporters will try to kill us all and they'll have fun doing it if permitted.

how come his Walton Family Stores were not so full yesterday. Yes,had to replenish our one item that they only carry with out running way across town to get.

Two Registers open with one or two in line, even the self checks were empty. BTW,Store displays are either super loaded with inventory or they are empty.

So all his supporters are loaded with cash, interesting.

Let’s see. Things I want to buy:

New car for my wife! Her current vehicle is 18 years old. Nope, can’t do it, gotta pay medical bills.

Telescope! A cheap one will do. Nope, can’t do that, gotta pay the rent. Which just went up by $70.

I teach Photoshop and related stuff... I’d like a more modern computer, mine was good in 2012, but, you guessed it, nope. Gotta pay the student loan bills.

Etc etc etc

I guess I’m not much of a consumer!

flour, sugar, coffee - and paper goods...I have always been frugal, but you say recession, and I go into overdrive..

..I am fearful, as never before, due to the medical condition of hubby, who is going into his 4th week of 9 week radiation treatments....and the cost is unknown..I have an estimate..but truthfully, I care more about him being cancer free..I do have a plan - if it takes our savings, so be it..sell the house..but in a recession..just shaking head..haven't been able to talk about this..he was really sick yesterday...what a trooper...we do have Medicare Advantage AZ..we'll see...I have always been very positive and optimistic..and will remain so, just more vigilant...we'll be fine....

So rich cheatolini..kiss my royal ass.....

And rob health care from millions from causing them not to be covered or the cost to skyrocket upward, or you cut all safety net programs like Social Security, medicare, and Medicaid, and watch prescription drug prices go straight up, or you lie to auto workers, miners, farmers , and start a damaging trade war causing people to lose more jobs, and consumer prices to go upwards on almost everything, he must think people are stupid, but then again he's a life long con artist who thinks he can con everyone. He's run the deficit up trillions for the 1%ers, and we are already in a recession heading for a possible depression he caused.

that pushed him to do the tax cut.

The Repugs fed him a line of B.S. on these tax cuts and they used Trump. His ego bought this hook, line and sinker and he doesn't realize that he was taken advantage of by the Repugs.

If he wants to blame somebody for the impending recession - he should blame the Repugs that sold him this bill of goods. They are to blame.

“I just saw the report.”
“...because of what I’ve done.”
“I’m prepared for everything.”
“I gave a tremendous tax cut.”

The sooner this undulating, self-loving blob of grease and bullshit is removed, the better off the world will be.
