WaPo's Aaron Blake fact-checks Kudlow and proves conclusively that Larry is Nostradumbass.

Aaron Blake
@AaronBlake

Kudlow predicted the deficit would decline in 2018. It increased 17%.

He said we'd get 3-4 percent GDP growth off the tax cuts. It's been 2.5 percent.

He predicted we could hit 5% GDP growth for a short period. The highest it's hit has been 3.5%.

Why would we expect Kudlow to know anything? He's a Trump appointee. Jim__ Aug 2019 #2

He consistently predicted that we would not have a recession throughout late 2007 and 2008.

As prognostications go, that is some major league wrong.

Even I, just a dumb Engineer, was positive that the whole system was set to implode by late 2017.

He's a typical Trump appointee. He's Director of the National Economic Council, and, of course, he's not an economist.
