Seriously, what the hell is it with Trump and "You Can't Always Get What You Want?"

He uses the song at the end of every speech of his.

I mean, every speech.

Not just political rallies, but supposed presidential "policy speeches" to the extent they could actually be called that.

This afternoon he used it.....in front of a veteran's group.

A veteran's group, for crying out loud.

Why, for God's sake?

I know he had an infamous run-in with The Rolling Stones back in the 1980s:

So I guess he could just be trolling them. But wouldn't his handlers be savvy enough not to use it for every speech, no matter how inappropriate it might seem?

I would think there would have to be a line drawn somewhere.

3. That's an easy twofold explanation:

1. It's Trump taunting both his followers and his adversaries. Being truthful for a change and telling everyone not to believe him.

2. Trump had a falling out with the Rolling Stones when he had casinos in Atlantic City. Trump wanted a freebie and the Stones weren't having it. Keith Richards showed a big knife. Now Trump's blaring "You Can't Always Get What You Want" against the wishes of the Stones and without paying copyright fees for using the song. https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/15/politics/rolling-stones-keith-richards-donald-trump/index.html
