Rinse and Repeat *Sigh*

The same-old story:
1) GOP cuts taxes for the rich, promising trickle-down miracle
2) The economy slows, deficit grows.
3) GOP calls for cuts to Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid.
4) GOP calls for *more* tax cuts.
5) Recession hits.
6) Democrats clean up the mess.
7) Repeat.

At what point do the working classes who vote for this wise up? Probably never I suppose because their othering is more important than their standard of living. Bigly sad...

Dems do what they can to clean up the mess, but never quite get it back to where it was before the latest onslaught.

Gradually, we lose more and more.

It seems to be a step-by-step approach that happens gradually and slowly degrades the entire gestalt.

We are already a 3rd World country in several ways, so, not much longer to go. The next cycle could push things over the brink easily. The State of the Union is badly bruised and getting fragile from all the blows.

Rather than getting anything from the Republican Regime, we unget every time. (coined a word there, newspeak) and that may go on until we ain't gots nuthin' no more.

Democratic Presidents and Congresses don't obsessively brag about how great they are for the economy, republicans do, even though history for something like 117 years say that on average, democratic Presidents and Congresses have seriously outperformed the republican counterparts. Even rich people have done better under democrats on average
