OK to raise his voice in a Castrato style.
I'd rather opt to revive an enchanting medieval custom: dragging him into the wild by horses till he gets raw, then cure him only as much as needed and repeat the process for as long as we believe he has paid the full price for all the harms he has done.
This is likely to last for a while....
