Craig Romney: "two immigrants -- my grandfathers -- who came to this country... "
I saw his speech last night and when I heard this line I immediately jumped up and yelled, "that's a lie!"
But apparently it's true. His grandfather George was born in Mexico after his grandfather and grandmothers fled there to escape the crushing big government yoke of outlawing polygamy. So, the Romney's are almost, sort of like, actual immigrants who come to this country.
And George Romney would live the immigrant dream and one day run for president - and despirte actually being born in another country no one asked him for his birth certificate.

TAMPA, Fla. -- Craig Romney, one of Mitt Romney's five sons, made a big play to Hispanic voters in his speech before the Republican convention in Tampa Thursday night.
Romney delivered part of his remarks in Spanish, and lauded Latino Govs. Susana Martinez of New Mexico and Brian Sandoval of Nevada.
He also tried to make the case that the Romney family can relate to the immigrant experience.
"It's easy to forget that the story of my father's success begins with the story of two immigrants -- my grandfathers -- who came to this country with little more than hope in the opportunity of America,"
