Given 45's recent behavior, would now be the time to short some stocks?

45 has been on a rampage over the past few months, resulting in several big point losses in the stock market.

Since he appears to be trending toward more and more erratic behavior, now might be the time to short some stocks.

to manipulate the market. The market goes up he stirs up the trade war and it goes down. He goes off on something else like insulting the Mayor of Dayton it goes back up. If he or say his son in law or sons know before there can be a lot of money made day trading.

Someone is making a lot of money on this.

He is not crazy. He is flinging sh*t on purpose.

psychiatrists point out patterns and signs of pathology well known to them that had become just Trump being himself to us. And with and without it being pointed out, he is obviously getting worse, which they predicted long ago.

Others using him are competent. But that doesn't mean many aren't currently being hurt, of course.

45 may be deliberately manipulating the market for him and possibly others (i.e. Jared Kushner) to make money on short-selling.

7. That would be pretty easy to detect, and likely solidify calls for Impeachment and Senate support.

He can mess with votes, minorities, poor people, sick people, etc., but not the moneyed interests.

Whatever happens, it's going to be very volatile and completely unpredictable. And the market does not like unpredictability.

6. I don't trade stocks anymore

After 20 trading individual stocks I've quit trading them and now focus strictly on futures. When the trump tweet came out this morning it was a simple matter to just short the S&P futures contracts for a couple easy G's. With trump at the controls you never know what will happen overnight. I'm in 100% cash when the market opens and I'm 100% cash when the market closes. In the age of trump your investment dollars are in jepardy.

The closer you get to retirement, the wiser it is to move more of your portfolio to cash. You don't have the time to recover if everything goes to hell like a younger person would.
