Trump says he's likely to hold next year's #G7 meeting at his own huge, struggling Doral resort.

This needs to be stopped.

Note to G7 guests: Trump Doral pools have not been inspected by health officials
By Heather Timmons & Justin RohrlichJuly 22, 2019

When the US next year hosts the G7 summit, a meeting between some of the world’s biggest economies, guests may want to be wary of using the pool.

US president Donald Trump’s “Trump National Doral” golf resort in Miami is a top contender to host the meeting, according to Axios. The news is raising new concerns about how Trump and his family are benefiting financially from his presidency. It should also raise questions about the health and safety of those attending.

Quartz revealed in May that the pools at Trump resorts in Florida have been cited for poor water quality and other health and safety violations far more frequently than other resorts. Florida Department of Health inspectors actually shut down pools at Trump properties at least 10 times in the last year, state records show, while other luxury properties had mostly pristine pools.

The Trump Doral property pools are a special case. From Quartz’s previous report:.......................................

"Trump, appearing with German Chancellor Angela Merkel during a bilateral meeting at the G-7 conference, touted Trump National Doral for its proximity to the Miami Airport, among other reasons."

Proximity? It's practically in the flight path. And the terrorist group Alpha 66 has their 'training camp' just down the street. Nice!!

Is the decision made by a consensus of the G-7 members or is the venue selected on a rotation basis? Is the US on deck for next years meeting? Or does tRump just snap his fingers, commands it and it is done?

Something doesn't add up for me here.

The G7 summit is a forum that plays an important role in shaping global responses to global challenges, complementing the global economic coordination carried out by the G20. Last year's G7 summit was held in in Schloss Elmau, Bavaria (Germany) under German presidency. In accordance with the rotating presidency of the G7, next summits will be held in Italy (2017), Canada (2018), France (2019), and the USA (2020).

So the US is next in line. Trouble is, it looks like Mr. Ollie Orange gets to decide where. Doral, Mal-A-Lardo, etc. - where ever he can skim the most.
