What is our simple message?

Last night Rmoney, I think in part, successfully, rendered his message for the undecideds, down to a simple:

'We gave Obama a chance, he failed, now it is time for a change.'

I know lots of folks, sadly, many of them older, who would understand that message, and think it makes sense.

I think this is the message that Rmoney is going to stick with, I am certain that it has tested well.

What is our clear message, an easy to understand message for the undecided voter? I don't know? I am getting ready to start my volunteer time talking to undecideds and wavering dem's and I would like to head out there with something that sticks... I don't want to knock on a door and start talking to an empty chair, because my message isn't clear...

at this time, this is what I have, I am just not sure it is clear enough?

'Obama was elected 4 years ago with great hopes that the people who elected him would get the change that he promised. He was able to get a little bit done, health care reform, DADT being changed, Lilly Leadbetter act, etc.... all great changes. However, after a couple of years in office, America decided to populate the government with People that had only one goal in mind, obstructing Obama and the voters that wanted him to succeed. Those Government officials are now represented by the Republican ticket, Mitt Romney, representing the out of touch 1% rich minority, a man who does not understand what it is to be poor, or middle class in this country. He wants nothing more than to help his Friends pay as little into building America, and to take as much from Americans as they can, while they can. The other half of the ticket, represented by Paul Ryan, has one goal in mind... making the country, by law, as conservative as possible. Ryan and his people have a deep misunderstanding of the poor and middle class, to such a degree, it boarders on cruelty... which has recently come to light with his comments regarding women. Ryan and Romney both have been fact checked to the point where most of what they have said in the media has been proven untrue... and frankly, I will not believe a word of what they say until Romney releases his tax returns, the same as Obama and every other candidate before him, including Romneys Dad when he ran for office.

In short, The Romney Ryan ticket represents, the worst of what our government can be... they want to stand in the way of progress, they want to take away from what we have achieved, and they will do it at all costs, employing every degree of deception. Americans have been through enough, lets get these guys out of they way and start moving forward again with a team that cares and is willing to listen to all American's Rich, Poor, Middle Class, man or woman.'

ok, pretty weak huh.... not quite talking to an empty chair... but that is all I got for now...

It acknowledges work is being done, acknowledges it isn't perfect, but cautions people against making a new mistake.

I really hope that they go with something short and sweet like this, you know, since the other side is blatantly lying.

amazingly, Obama's campaign has actually run ads like that. Sad that I'm a amazed by Dem campaign competence, but there it is.

3. We Defend the Middle Class

The Middle Class is the heart and soul of the American Dream and Demcorats stand ready to defend it with every ounce of strength we have. The Middle Class is the heatland of America, a strong middle class helps lift others out of poverty, because a vibrant economy with opportunities for all depends on a strong and stable middle class. Obama's message should be "We stand with the middle class and we oppose all efforts to undercut it in order to pander to the super rich."

are inferior. That's what they are really saying.

I've run into some idiots who I really think voted for Obama so they could prove this.

Thus "failure" is self-evident to them.

Anyway what are they talking about? Bin Laden is gone, DADT is gone, the economy is improving, Iraq is done, Afghanistan is working toward done. Do these idiots want another recession and another war instead of staying the course?

Forward and keep improving should be our simple message. Rather than digging a new hole.

With a reminder that Romney only had one term as MA governor. Obama has 4 years in the senate and 4 in the Presidency. Mittens has no idea what he's talking about and Bain was bailed out by the government. Plus he put his dog on the roof of his car for a long haul.

Most people - no, maybe all other people - would never have thought of doing such a thing. It was an error in the Mittbot's wiring.
