(4,341 posts)The FBI should begin an investigation and depose him of his guns while the investigation is open.

(2,596 posts)And perhaps I'm badly mistaken, wouldn't the Secret Service probably investigate his threat to a presidential candidate (or does that only happen after the party has nominated the individual?).

(12,814 posts)... that Trump makes all the time, like the ones that humorously inspired a Republican fanatic to drive halfway across Texas just to shoot Hispanics in El Paso. Ha ha ha! Hear the funny Republican "humor"! Ha ha ha!!
If he claims it was a joke, he's joking.
In any case, this coward's thumbs are tweeting checks his balls won't cash.

(5,103 posts)In this day of mass murder, we teach our children to report ANY talk of firearms or violence and we owe them to investigate.
These comments are taken seriously in schools so I see no difference with this idiotic comment.
Tweets are a window to your soul!
Maybe Cain really is the guy who "seemed so nice" and "I never thought he would really do it".
Just like at the airport, you don't even joke about these things!
First is, why does he still have a twitter account. Isn't this a violation of TOS?

(10,885 posts)I don't know what plans or aspirations David Hogg originally had for his future, but Parkland may well have sent him off in a direction he had never imagined. He has a bright future in activism, if he so chooses to follow that path.

(8,922 posts)He has made Beto into a target. He should be arrested. If this isn't considered inciting violence against another individual, there needs to be a law that it should be.

(63,221 posts)I cannot understand this fetish for guns, I really can't. They are the biggest cowards in the world.
Anyone who calls out a threat like this should be arrested and have their firearms confiscated. They are a threat to public safety and need to be locked up.
I have a friend who just moved from San Diego to Texas, just outside of Houston. She wants me to come and visit her and her husband. I do not want to go for two reasons. 1. I hate to fly. 2. I do not want to visit a state where people can open carry and consider guns to be a measure of their masculinity.
I am not going.

(16,926 posts)what other Republican has stood up and "suggested" that "perhaps" this wasn't a "proper" response?
OK, has there been ANY Republican stand up and claim that this guy is a F**king A$$h@le and should be locked up immediately, as well as driven out of his Congressional seat?
Hello - anyone?????????

(8,020 posts)While Bush was president Richard Humphreys happened to get into a harmless barside discussion with a truck driver where he joked about bionically burning Bush,
A bartender who overheard the conversation, reported it and poor Humphreys ended up going to prison for 3 years.

And we've ALL got screen shots of it.
