If the House Doesn't Immediately Begin Impeachment Hearings to Remove AG Barr

We will not have an election in November 2020. His Justice Dept is issuing opinions and taking actions that support the eventual dismantlement of the Constitution. I see the path to issuing “emergency” orders “suspending” the election and Congress, (they’ve stacked the Courts with enough sycophants) if it appears a year from now that Trump is going to lose. He will declare Trump the Imperial Leader to serve indefinitely,

But at least he’d be on notice that he will need to defend his unconstitutional actions in Public. Barr never speaks in public, and hasn’t been questioned by reporters or Congress since his Nomination hearings.

Barr wont be removed by the Senate either, but Democrats in the house need to impeach Trump regardless of the senate.

Who would support impeachment AND conviction for Trump and Barr? It takes 67 votes in the Senate to remove someone from office via impeachment and there are 47 Democrats in the Senate.
Need 20 Republican guilty votes.

We have no idea how the Republicans and the Public will react once they hear Barr defending himself in public testimony. It’s obvious he’s acting in an unconstitutional manner, it needs to be exposed to those who currently aren’t paying attention.

I feel so powerless, as I am sure we all do. It infuriates me that it seems that there is NOTHING we can do to stop these lying, cheating, corrupt motherfuckers.

There has got to be a way around this. There has got to be a loophole or a law or something to allow us to limit their power. Where are the great Democratic legal minds on this? I can't believe these fucking right-wing morons are running circles around us!

We are better than they are, smarter than they are, more thorough than they are. Why can't we stop them?

Arghhhhhh!

accepting the status quo. The republicans don't want to testify? Oh well, then that's the way it is! Fuck that! We make them testify! Why are we always such wimps when it comes to standing up to them. This is what infuriates me so much! We never fight! We always roll over.

I have fucking had it! Either we go balls to the wall or we might as well fucking fold as a party.

almost....weird, right? Why would someone join over the summer just to spend 90% of their posting time telling us that impeachment is not ever possible.

Just strange. Eh, I'm probably imagining it.

Nothing. It will not win. Then Barr wins.

This is not complicated. Control of the house gives us the ability to stop negative actions. Little power to take positive actions.

Barr is flaunting his contempt for the House and unbridled defense of Trump without retribution. He supposed to be the people’s Attorney, not the President’s.

So we impeach. If we can. Then the Senate does not convict. Probably does not even vote on it.

He’s still AG. We lose. What has been accomplished?

Realize we on DU are the exceptions. Most Americans would just see it as politics as normal.

Focus on 2020. What are we going to do to make Americans life better. It won 2018. Pelosi knows it will win 2020.

How does a staggeringly poor impeachment attempt help anything.

Impeachment has nothing to do with election. fairness or lack there of. It’s just deflection to keep from answering my question.

I spouted similar nonsense about Bush41 when I was younger, and the Right insisted Obama would refuse to leave office as well. Let’s dial down the hysteria.
