Everyone has, I assume, heard Copland's *A Lincoln Portrait*...

...with its exceptionally beautiful and haunting music, and the quotes from Lincoln that close the piece. Those words that are the most moving and eloquent of anyone in our history... I've heard everyone, from Kate Hepburn to Gregory Peck to Norman Schwartzkopf, narrate this piece, and I always have tears in my eyes when it's done, because I remember that we had such a man in the White House once, and that he was there at precisely the moment when we needed him. And I wonder if there will ever be *A Trump Portrait*...who will be doing *that* music? Maybe the Duck Dynasty family? And what immortal quotes will be included in this piece? Grab 'em by the pussy? The mocking of a Gold Star family? The immortal Pocahontas quote? The possibilities are endless. And it could end with a rousing version of "They're Coming to Take Me Away"...
