(23,099 posts)They should be ashamed of themselves and just pray hard that nothing bad happens to WB or the sources.

(33,345 posts)in fact, it's about the best there is. who's better? WaPo? The WSJ?
the whistleblower's identity is coming out sooner or later - and there's little chance the WH hasn't figured it out already.

(23,099 posts)Doesn't matter what WH may or may not know, publishing that information is just asking for drumpf or one of his ratshit crazy minions to hurt the person, destroy evidence and save the presidency. I stand by my description. They also published an "anonymous" puff piece about the orange traitor tots' so called presidency, also unethical

(34,070 posts)I don't seriosly think Trump would order a hit - but his ratsht crazy minions will perceive his rant as orders to mete out "justice." As the whistleblower's attorney said - the move either put the whistleblower - or someone else suspected based on the details - in grave danger.

(94,552 posts)I'm not complaining about hard-hitting investigative journalism. The idea that they were putting the whistleblower at risk is silly.

(90,683 posts)Something about these claims does not seem right. Would like links to the relevant NYT articles for substantiation.

He was the co-founder and executive director of Ready for Hillary, a super PAC established to persuade Hillary Clinton to run for the presidency of the United States in 2016.
In the 2017 party election, Parkhomenko was a candidate for Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee.

(16,616 posts)had to be bullshit that turned out to be almost certainly true, then resubscribed. Despite Ken Vogel and Maggie Haberman, I'm sticking with the Times unless they do something unconscionable. The NYT is like a book. Imagine writing a book every day, every day, and never making a mistake.
And, yes, the WaPo is excellent, but I still say not as good as the NYT.
