No, theres no court that has jurisdiction over a presidential impeachment.

(84,715 posts)how hes done business in midtown Manhattan and his various other properties, all his life. Lying, cheating, swindling, bullying, shaking people down, slithering away with his pockets bulging but leaving creditors, workers, contractors and subcontractors holding the bag. Selling his unsuspecting marks a pile of shit and skating away with ill-gotten gain. Thats how hes lived his whole life.
Schmuck. Man, its gonna be hell by the time he finally has to pay the piper. More like - hes gonna be IN Hell when he has to pay the piper. Or hes gonna think its Hell.

Right there and then, she beat the crap out of him without touching him. Nancy showed who the boss was at that very moment. Trump didn't have a clue then, and I wonder if he has a clue now? Does he know what is going to happen to him and his gang? Giuliani won't be able to protect him. Nobody can. He said it himself...."I thought it was all over.."
Pelosi and Schiff had different plans....
......................... But, Trump was sure that he would get away with it, and thought it was all over...
...........................But, Trump didn't realize it wasn't over until it is over.

let McConnel defend trump fleecing america. I am not sure why in January 2019, this bill was not passed in the House.
2. All presidential "vacation time" is limited to no more than 4 weeks a year away from the WHITE HOUSE with a maximum cap of XXXX dollars. Any friends, family, entourage outside of the immediate security detail must be paid by president from personal funds
I am not sure why in January 2019, this bill was not passed in the House.
3. All "non-govt-related" travel is done at the personal expense of the president to cover total cost including security detail. The "campaign rallies" are not govt-related"
I am not sure why in January 2019, this bill was not passed in the House.
democrats could have been hitting McConnel and Trump over excessive taxpayer wasted spending that McConnel protects

(11,949 posts)As have the minority on DU who agreed with her.
But she was waiting. I help tell stories for a living. The first key to winning over an audience is a simple narrative that can be explained in 3 sentences. Politics is the same.
She knew if she waited the opportunity would present itself. And it did. Here is the truth we are telling:
Trump asked a head of state to help him win in 2020 but manufacturing dirt on his most dangerous opponent. He was withholding badly need aid when he made the request. And he admitted it.
Once she got that the hammer dropped. She has moved with speed and clarity that astounds even this supporter. She wants this wrapped up by Christmas.
Not because she has any illusions he will be kicked out of office or resign, although the hope is still there. But to give the American people time to fully absorb what he did. When the senate acquits he may get a bump. But the next 9 months the simple and true narrative we tell will take its toll.
When we win in 2020 she will be remembered as the greatest speaker in 100 years.
