Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.), one of President Trumps most vocal allies in the Senate, on Thursday dismissed a whistleblower complaint that has led House Democrats to announce an impeachment inquiry but said it is imperative to determine which White House officials spoke with the anonymous whistleblower.
It is imperative we find out which White House official talked to the whistleblower and why. Why didnt they lodge the complaint? Graham tweeted Thursday.
As to the other matters in complaint: Clearly a coordinated effort to take second-hand information to create a narrative damaging to the President. When I think of whistleblower complaints I generally think of someone with first-hand knowledge of the events in question, he added.

Following the revelation of the complaint, which concerned a call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in which Trump discussed former Vice President Joe Bidens son Hunter, the White House released notes summarizing the call Wednesday morning.

(21,566 posts)this was the strategy they tried early in the presidency. that the real issue wasn't horrible things, but people EXPOSING horrible things. Now they are at it again? "The issue isn't the president committing a felony, it is someone reporting it to the police!"
I just don't see that as resonating much with anyone other than the hard core deplorables, who don't need any convincing anyway
