Only 4 in 10 Repubs think Trump mentioned Biden on Ukraine call even though he acknowledged doing it

WASHINGTON – A new poll shows that only four in 10 Republicans believe President Donald Trump talked to the Ukrainian president about investigating political rival Joe Biden, even though Trump has acknowledged doing so.

That compares with 85% of Democrats and 61% of independents surveyed by Monmouth University Poll who said Trump "probably did" mention the possibility of an investigation into the Biden family during a July phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky.

"This seems to be another example of partisan tribalism at work in public opinion,” said Patrick Murray, director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institute.

I suspect that rate will go up. And even those who believe it, still don't think it's impeachable flibbitygiblets Oct 2019 #1

not only do republican voters seem not so smart but when they absorb Fox, they are even less likely to form logical arguments!

I was just watching Washington Journal on CSPAN & a guy called on the republican line. He said he didn't think any president had ever been impeached because of a phone call he made to a foreign leader! duh! When he said that I was thinking, it's not the call that was the problem, it's what he said on the call & how he tried to force the leader into doing on his behalf!

I usually don't even listen to republican calls but this time I decided to listen just to see if it was going to be pro or con impeachment.

They lie. The end (Jesusland, White-opia, whatever) justify the means. Jesus forgives anything, anyway.
