Now, if Mattis would just speak out on tRump's madness and corruption....

I understand the military and their code but it shouldn't get in the way of saving our democracy.

My sister just finally fully retired from the military. She is so brainwashed about defending Republicans - all in the name of military secrets and "honor". Ugh.

He was SecDef once Trump took office but I don't think he was involved in the campaign and Trump was somewhat careful about when he started his worst corruption--and who he told.

Mattis gives the impression (to me at least) that he would not have stood for any of the most overtly illegal shenanigans and bit his tongue for the shitty but legal decisions he had to implement.
