No. Not the same, actually.

Trump has been booing us for a long, long time. Might as well return the favor. He disses us constantly in his tweets, public statements and campaign rallies. He calls Democrats losers. He maligns us and the representatives we elect. Why should we be polite to someone who does that.

Boo him! Yell "Lock him up!" just like he encouraged his supporters to do about Hillary Clinton. Give him back what he puts out, and in Spades.

Donald J. Trump is supposed to serve us as President, but he serves himself, instead. Why should we show respect for someone who has no sense of responsibility to the American people. We are those people, too.

It's OK to show a President how you feel about the way he conducts himself.

Boo freely! Yell as much as you want! But, then, vote and bring others with you to the polls. Replace the SOB and his corrupt buddies!

He made the bed, and now he has to lie in it. The people in the audience were simply speaking his language.

Quid pro quo!

...when it becomes obvious that Trump is a dictator and he is shooting us down in the streets, we will wish that we had taken the opportunity to shame OM in an entirely benign venue where we can't get shot. At least not right away.

The crowd did us proud.

This administration is pushing all the boundaries and it's a lot easier to stop it now than have to roll it back later. We really are at a precipice ... I never imagined it could go this far in our country.
